Saint Thomas Health has settled a religious discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, according to a news release. Saint Thomas is accused of violating the religious rights of a worker at its hospital in Rutherford County by requiring him to receive a flu shot.
