St. Joseph ’s Women’s Hospital moves dirt for $9.4M expansion, renovation project

The hospital known for delivering and caring for babies is expanding to handle even more. St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa has started construction on a $9.4 million project to expand its Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and renovate 15 beds in the obstetrics unit. The expansion is the NICU is for 12 new, private patient suites, bringing the total bed count to 76.
