Direct oral anticoagulants versus aspirin for venous thromboembolism prophylaxis after orthopedic surgery.
CONCLUSION: No difference in net clinical outcome was observed in patients who received a DOAC or aspirin for VTE prophylaxis after major orthopedic surgery.
