Enhanced room temperature stretch formability of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet by laser shock peening

The results show that the room-temperature stretch formability of Mg alloy sheet can be enhanced by LSP, particularly through an integrated texture weakening and grain refinement effect induced by the laser shock loading.
