Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital receives $5M grant for infant and maternal care
The St. Petersburg hospital that has garnered negative attention for its increase in mortality rates at its heart institute has been awarded a $5 million grant to help infants.
“Unfortunately, we continue to see high rates of infant deaths, and maternal deaths are also on the rise,” said Sheila Devanesan, an obstetrician-gynecologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, in the hospital's news release.
