Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member B10 predicts advanced nonalcoholic steatohepatitis

(Kanazawa University) AKR1B10 is a useful serum biomarker for advanced liver fibrosis in Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis and, combined with serum WFA(+)-M2BP, it can predict hepatocellular carcinoma development, gastroesophageal varix formation, and poor prognosis.
