Associations between age discrimination and health and wellbeing: cross-sectional and prospective analysis of the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing

In study (n=7731), perceived age discrimination (AD) was reported by 1943 (25.1%) subjects; they were more likely to self-report fair/poor health and to have CHD, chronic lung disease, arthritis, limiting long-standing illness and depressive symptoms vs. those not perceiving AD.
