Karyotype of first miscarriage is prognostic of subsequent pregnancy outcome

Fetal chromosomal abnormalities are the most common cause of miscarriage. Genetic testing of products of conception is routinely performed after a second consecutive pregnancy loss [1]. While euploid miscarriage is a negative prognostic indicator in the setting of RPL, it is unknown if sporadic euploid miscarriage is predictive of future pregnancy outcomes [2].
