Medicaid managed care company AmeriHealth Caritas adds its first New England state
AmeriHealth Caritas will soon to be doing business in its first New England state.
The Philadelphia-based managed care organization was awarded a five-contract by New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services to provide health coverage to the state’s Medicaid enrollees. The start date for the contract is still in the process of being finalized.
New Hampshire has about 180,000 low-income Medicaid enrollees.
