First occurrence of pediatric urinary tract infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae in a teaching hospital in Tunisia
We report here two cases of urinary tract infections occurred in pediatrics patients with vesicoureteral reflux and renal stones. It becomes essential to consider pneumococcal UTI in the presence of clinical signs and symptoms associated co-existing predisposing factors.
