CONCLUSION: The present results support the idea that the tissues composing the TMJ are viable and may respond to positive stimulus. In that way, this report proposes a way to treat those patients with TMJ OA, who may respond when the treatment aims to reduce the overloading forces affecting the TMJ. CONCLUSIONS: It is suggested that ZTE-MRI provides clinically reliable images for bone assessment in TMJ disorder. Conclusion: The method of using sutures to reposition and stabilize the articular disc for a patient with comminuted fractures is effective. There is great significance not only for patients with comminuted condylar fractures but for treatment of TMJ dysfunction especially for patients with high psychological pressure who persist in requiring the removal of metallic anchors although there are no clinical symptoms.
