Yadav company gets FDA approval for new implant material

A prominent Atlanta medical entrepreneur has gained federal approval for a new type of medical implant. MiRus LLC, founded by Jay Yadav, said it has received FDA approval for a medical implant made from its new molybdenum rhenium “superalloy,” known as MoRe. Privately-held MiRus makes spinal and orthopaedic implants. The company said the material provides “an unprecedented combination of str ength, ductility, durability, and biological safety that is unmatched by current materials.”  Said…
