Methods: Seventy patients with CD and 70 healthy controls were included in this prospective, comparative study. All participants underwent a complete ophthalmologic evaluation and SD-OCT. Subfoveal, nasal (nasal distance to fovea 500 μm, 1000 μm, and 1500 μm), and temporal (temporal distance to fovea 500 μm, 1000 μm, and 1500 μm) choroidal thickness measurements were performed using SD-OCT. CONCLUSIONS: DI is frequent in Sjögrenser patients, mainly in the form of autoimmune disorders, and seem to be associated with a more severe phenotype. We describe the case of a 16-year-old boy with a medical history of allergic asthma, celiac disease, and known food-induced allergy for fish, fresh milk, peanuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, apples, kiwis, and peaches. Conclusions Despite the high prevalence of alarm symptoms at diagnosis, coincident major UGI endoscopic findings are rare in adult coeliac disease. These results may be relevant for future developments in coeliac disease diagnosis in adults.

CONCLUSION: In cSLE, PA is associated with more hospitalizations and aggressive immunotherapy use. Although lupus disease activity improved over time, patients' QoL neither improved over time nor differed by having other autoimmune disease.
