Thrombolytic Therapy for Acute Ischemic Stroke: Past and Future.

CONCLUSION: Thrombolytic therapy is sometimes accompanied by harmful hemorrhagic insults; accordingly, a window of time wherein therapy can safely be performed has been established for this approach.
