National Governor's Association Invitation: Improving Capacity for Health Care Service Delivery Meeting, June 4 –5, 2019

The National Governor’s Association (NGA) is inviting thoughtful state healthcare policy and EMS leaders who work closely with them to a meeting on improving capacity for healthcare service delivery—and EMS is on the agenda. States are invited to nominate a team of individuals from across health-related executive branch agencies and key partner organizations to participate in a multi-state meeting about how to effectively build and maintain health care workforce capacity to ensure access to care for state residents. The meeting will be held on June 5 – 6 in Indianapolis. For this opportunity, we’re encouraging states to nominate individuals who work on health care workforce, rural health, EMS, behavioral health, maternal and child health, and oral health issues. This meeting is being held in partnership with the National Conference of State Legislatures. Applications must come through local governor’s offices and be received by 5:00 p.m. ET Thursday, April 4, 2019. Complete information can be found by downloading this PDF.
