The FOXP3 Δ2 isoform supports regulatory T cell development and protects against severe IPEX

Loss of FOXP3fl and retained expression of FOXP3 Δ2 isoforms due to a novel FOXP3 mutation, demonstrates that FOXP3Δ2 can support Treg development and mediate an attenuated IPEX phenotype.
