Measuring Mental Stress During Otologic Surgery Using Heart Rate Variability Analysis
Conclusions:
Decreased HRV and increased sympathetic tone were observed intraoperatively, indicating high levels of mental stress, particularly with FN dissection. Similar changes were not found during cadaveric dissections.
