Synthesis, characterization, Hirshfeld surface, cytotoxicity, DNA damage and cell cycle arrest studies of N, N-diphenyl-N'-(biphenyl-4-carbonyl/4-chlorobenzoyl) thiocarbamides

In this study, two new N, N–disubstituted thiocarbamide compounds 1 and 2 have been synthesized and characterized by different spectroscopic (FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV–Visible) techniques. The molecular structure of both compounds was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction and Hirshfeld surfaces analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 were also screened for their in vitro cytotoxicity, DNA damage and cell cycle arrest studies.
