Study on the spectral complementary composite dye molecules designed for high performance Dye-sensitized solar cells: A theoretical investigation

We present the theoretical investigation on absorption wavelength complementarity organic dyes for dye-sensitized solar cell application. Our results show that B1 dye have the best absorption wavelength complementarity with XY1 dye, and correspondingly induces higher light-harvesting efficiency in the range of 350-450 nm of the solar spectrum.
