An outbreak of bilateral photokeratitis among an indoor school event attendees attributable to unshielded mercury vapour and metal halide lights, Eruvadi village, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, South India, 2018

ConclusionPhotokeratitis outbreak among school event attendees in South India was due to exposure to UV light from indoor lights used during the event. We recommended restriction of usage of such lights for indoor events through awareness campaigns and guidelines.
