Silvery Gray Hair: A Clue to Diagnosing Ch édiak–Higashi Syndrome

A 20-month-old girl presented to our department with silvery gray hair and skin hyperpigmentation. According to her parents, the hair color had gradually turned to silvery gray, and hyperpigmentation of the cheeks and limbs emerged at about 1  year of age. On examination, hyperpigmentation with bleaching spots were seen on her cheeks and limbs (Figure 1, A), and the color of her trunk was normal. The color of her hair was silvery gray (Figure 1, B), and the color of her eyebrows and eyelashes were normal.
