A television star with cystic fibrosis is praying Vertex agrees a deal with the NHS next week as he desperately needs Orkambi now. Actor Cameron Hutchinson, 27, said his quality of life had taken "a significant drop" in the past two years and his work had suffered.

Conclusion To conclude, this study suggests a preserved plasticity in the skeletal muscle of a patient with MELAS.
