First Peruvian recipient of mining organization's 'Outstanding Young Professional' award

(University of Arizona College of Engineering) Rosa Maria Rojas went from resenting the mining industry as a teenager (her parents moved her to a small town in the middle of high school for their jobs in the industry) to excelling in positions at BHP, Freeport McMoRan and the University of Arizona. The industry recognized her achievements with an award at a recent conference.
