Study: Free fatty acids appear to rewire cells to promote obesity-related breast cancer
(University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) Free fatty acids in the blood are linked with higher rates of estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer in obese postmenopausal women, according to a new study led by food science and human nutrition professor Zeynep Madak-Erdogan at the University of Illinois.
