Loss of bronchoprotection with ICS+LABA, beta-receptor dynamics, and the effect of alendronate
When used with ICS, regular LABA use does not cause reductions in bronchoprotection in a majority of patients. In those who become more sensitive to bronchoconstrictors, downregulation of beta-receptors may not account for this sensitivity.
