ConclusionThe use of VD did not alter the dimensions of the vaginal canal within the first 3  months after the end of radiotherapy treatment. However, there was a large sample loss during follow-up so studies with a larger sample number and longer follow-up time need to be conducted.Trial RegistrationClinicalTrials.gov Identifier NCT03090217.

CONCLUSION: Our study supports the finding that UM in Chinese and Asian-Indian patients presents at a younger age than in Caucasians. Although rare, ophthalmologists should remain mindful of this life-threatening disease. This study aimed to compare external radiation (beam radiation) and internal radiation as a single radiation therapy to advanced HCC patients (TNA stage III and IV according to the derived AJCC Stage, 6th edition) stratified by other risk factors, based on the data collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) national database. In this cohort study, we mainly clarified the following three points: 1. Choices of radiation therapy for advanced HCC patients vary in demographic and clinical factors. Among these, TNM classification is the key factor. 2. Internal radiation provides a better prognosis in bo...

ConclusionsWe recommend the use of EBT3 films in routine X-ray based BI dosimetry checks. The presented method takes advantage of available radiotherapy equipment that can be efficiently used for EBT3 films calibration. The method is fast, reproducible and saves valuable medical physicist's time.
