Maternal Mortality After Cesarean Section in the Netherlands

Cesarean delivery rates have increased worldwide, despite several recommendations by the World Health Organization to curb this increase. A World Health Organization ecological study found that rates above 10% are not associated with improved maternal and perinatal outcomes.
