An Unusual Cause of Recurrent Epigastric Pain

Question: A 41-year-old male was referred for endoscopy for a history of chronic post-prandial epigastric pain, early satiety, bloating and occasional vomiting. He denies any diarrhea or unintentional weight loss. Past medical history includes migraine headaches, ADHD, depression, allergic rhinitis and ganglion cyst excision from left wrist. Current medications include Methylphenidate, Escitalopram, Aripiprazole, Fluticasone and Rizatriptan. Physical exam was normal. Previous upper endoscopy revealed diffuse inflammation throughout the entire stomach along with duodenal nodularity.
