Fast food is more unhealthy than ever

Fast-food restaurant patrons have more menu choices than ever before, but that ’s not necessarily a good thing. A new study finds that between 1986 and 2016, the number of entrées, sides and desserts available at the top 10 fast-food restaurants by sales increased by 226 percent. But portion sizes, calories and sodium also increased significantly over that time period, ac cording to a study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.  Restaurants involved in the study…
