Transcatheter Aortic Valve Explantation is Usually Feasible and Easy.

We present a clinical case of a 59 year-old patient with a degenerated CoreValve aortic prosthesis. We provide a video of a previously described surgical technique to perform a late surgical explantation of a CoreValve. We confirm that this operation is feasible and easy, partly due to the absence of adhesions at the coronary ostia. Finally, we comment the controversy between mechanical and biological prostheses in patients with dialysis. PMID: 30794783 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
