Congenital anomaly of the atlas misdiagnosed as posterior arch fracture of the atlas and atlantoaxial subluxation.

We report a very rare case of congenital anomaly of the atlas combined with atlantoaxial subluxation, that can be misdiagnosed as posterior arch fracture.
