New York to help develop national ratings system for addictions programs

The state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services announced New York was selected among five states to pilot a new national rating system for addiction treatment providers. During the 24-month pilot program, OASAS will work to align the rating system with ongoing initiatives in New York in tandem with Shatterproof, a national nonprofit based in New York that focuses on addictions issues.
