Conclusion: Without detailed assessments with preoperative CBCT, the surgery might have been done with dissection of only the anterior radicular vein in the shallow layers. We present a case of an otherwise healthy 58-year-old woman with multiple nasal polyps who underwent nasal polypectomy. The operation was initially considered successful.
