USDA and HHS Partner to Create Recovery Housing in Rural Communities
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a partnership to create addiction recovery transitional housing in rural communities. Nonprofit organizations that provide housing, treatment, job training, and other key services will be able to purchase homes from the USDA at a discount and convert them to transitional housing for people in substance misuse treatment and recovery.
