Successful management of pregnancy in recurrent immunoglobin A nephropathy and glomerulosclerosis: A case report
Introduction: Like other kidney diseases, immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) is increasingly encountered in pregnancy, but obstetric and renal outcomes are controversial. Patients with IgAN are at higher risk of hypertension, preeclampsia, and fetal loss, with worse prognosis in advanced chronic kidney disease and high baseline proteinuria.
