Myomectomy by degeneration rubra de mioma subseroso pediculado in pregnant attended in an hospital of the Amazon: Case report

Introduction: Leiomyoma of the uterus is a benign pathology, occurring in 20 –30% of women of reproductive age, during pregnancy ranges from 0.3 to 3.9%, and may present growth during gestation in up to half of the cases due to myometrial hypertrophy. Uterine activity in labor and lactation endocrinology are factors that favor fibroid degeneration. Myomectomy in this perio d can be performed in selected cases.
