It brings 24-7 access to the progress of requests on both sides of the exchange, and gives a simple, intuitive interface to an otherwise complicated monthly project. It even improves turnaround times for providers, which gets them back to caring for patients. In fact, there is a trend toward utilizing on-demand retrieval for HEDIS and other use cases that historically practice batch retrieval – will we see this continue in the future?
