Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs seeks damages from opioid makers
Add the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs to the very long list of plaintiffs suing Purdue Pharma and other opioid producers in connection with the epidemic of abuse “devastating the United States,” according to the tribe's lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Portland.
“Indian Country has been particularly hard hit,” the suit says, causing the Confederated Tribes to “suffer substantial loss of resources, economic damages and damages to the health and welfare of its members.”
