Heat, cold, vacuum … the microscopic creatures, found recently in a lake in Antarctica, show remarkable resilience to a wide range of normally lethal physical conditionsRemains of the minuscule organisms known as tardigrades have beendiscovered in a subglacial Antarctic lake.
