Conclusions: More than half the study patients received ibrutinib therapy at a submaximal dose without evidence of increased frequency of toxicities or disease progression. The rate of ibrutinib discontinuation was lower in our cohort than has been reported in other settings. Submaximal ibrutinib dosing will have to be further systematically evaluated. CONCLUSION: SIL is a laparoscopic technique that can safely be offered to patients presenting abdominal diseases. The main advantages include enhanced cosmetic results and reduced abdominal trauma. The main disadvantages are patient selection, a longer operative time for some procedures, and a need to expose the operative field for some other procedures. PMID: 31710087 [PubMed - in process]

ConclusionsTotal knee arthroplasty has good outcome with respect to clinical as well as functional outcome in haemophilic arthropathy. Although the results and outcome of total knee arthroplasty in haemophilic knee arthropathy may still be inferior to the results seen in a normal individual, a multidisciplinary approach yields a better functional and quality of living in such haemophilic patients.
