Adherence to the guidelines for antiulcer drug prescription in patients receiving low-dose aspirin therapy in Japan .
CONCLUSION: Our results showed that the requirement of antiulcer therapy is not routinely evaluated at hospital admission, and antiulcer drugs for patients with ulcer risks are under-prescribed. Developing strategies to screen gastrointestinal risk factors at hospital admission is required to improve the guideline adherence for LDA-induced ulcer.
