Introduction: Depression is a mental disorder that affects over 300 millions people globally and it may lead to suicide, which kills about 800,000 people each year. Recently, Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) - a non-invasive brain stimulation technique - has been extensively researched and pointed as a promising alternative for the Major Depression Disorder (MDD) treatment. In this case series we report the effect of twice-daily sessions of tDCS in patients with MDD and severe suicidal ideation.
