143. Medical And Mental Health Predictors of Pre-Operative BMI In An Adolescent Sample Seeking Bariatric Surgery

Adolescents seeking bariatric surgery commonly demonstrate increasing weight trajectories, despite intervention efforts. Pre-surgical programs for adolescent surgery candidates often include extensive dietary and exercise counseling as well as work-up and treatment of co-morbidities, but little work has explored pre-operative BMI trajectories. The purpose of the current study was to explore the pre-operative BMI trajectories and associations with medical and mental health variables in an adolescent sample seeking bariatric surgery.
