187. E-Volution- A Two Way Text Messaging Intervention To Support Young People With HIV Achieve Health And Wellbeing

To support young people with HIV infection, the E-Volution intervention focuses on youth and young adults living with HIV, ages 18-29, utilizing mobile health programming; specifically, automated 2-way text messaging and live text messaging between medical case managers and participants. Our goals were to: 1) increase appointments kept; 2) address concerns in young people ’s lives including housing, utilities and mood; 3) better understand the barriers to care; and 4) improve viral suppression (VLS) rates (less than 200 copies of the HIV virus/ml).
