South Africa: Foot-and-Mouth Disease Outbreak Poses Namibia With Daunting Task

[New Era] Windhoek -The suspension of import and in-transit movement of cloven-hoofed animals or their products from South Africa due to the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in that country will hit Namibia's already struggling dairy industry hard, while significant strain on the beef, pork and mutton markets cannot be ruled out.
