Development of an Intervention to Reduce Pain and Prevent Syncope Related to Adolescent Vaccination.
CONCLUSION: Patients, parents, and clinicians acknowledged the value of interventions to reduce pain and syncope after adolescent vaccination. Stakeholders identified a comfort menu as the intervention to be piloted at 2 KPNW pediatric clinics. Further research is needed to test the effectiveness of the "Vaccination Comfort Menu" intervention in improving vaccination experiences and continued receipt of vaccinations.
