When Preoperative Imaging and Audiometry Conflict: A Case of Cochlear Implantation in a Prelingually Deafened Adult

Conclusions: Consideration of cochlear implantation is reasonable for adults with long-standing hearing loss when preoperative audiometric testing is discordant with magnetic resonance imaging findings of radiographic cochlear nerve aplasia.
