ConclusionsIn LAM, serum VEGF-D is weakly associated with lung function impairment and strongly associated with lymphatic involvement. VEGF-D is validated for use in Brazilian patients with LAM whose characteristics must be accounted for when evaluating their serum VEGF-D levels.
