Implementation of value based breast cancer care

ConclusionAssessment of patient reported as well as provider reported outcomes was implemented within our standard of breast cancer care. For this, dedicated resources, change of culture and practice, and improved knowledge and awareness about Value Based Health Care (VBHC) were essential. Our proposed framework aims to serve as a blueprint for implementation of VBHC in daily care.

Nonetheless, the definite expression profile of DAAM1 in BrCa patients and the impact on metastasis of BrCa in vivo have not been explored up to now. The differential expression of DAAM1 in BrCa and adjacent tissues was assessed via immunohistochemistry (IHC) st...

Previous studies proposed that rs2585428, rs4809960, rs6022999 and rs6068816 in CYP24A1 gene might be greatly associated with cancer risk. To validate the findings, we here investigated the associations of these four polymorphisms and colorectal cancer (CRC) risk in a c...

This study aims to determine if a disparity in BR utilization exists in women from Appalachia Kentucky. Methods A retrospective, population-based cohort study was conducted from January 1, 2006, to December 31, 2015. The Kentucky Cancer Registry was queried to identify population-level data for female patients diagnosed with breast cancer and treated with mastectomy. A multivariate logistic regression model controlling for patient, disease, and treatment characteristics was constructed to predict the likelihood of BR. Results Bivariate testing showed differences (P
