CONCLUSION: This study found that childhood cancer survivors in New Zealand had a high prevalence of developmental dental abnormalities and it identified potential risk factors related to their cancer treatment. Inequitable access to oral rehabilitation for this patient group argues for a mechanism for consistent improved access to publicly funded dental care across district health boards in New Zealand. AbstractAbstractCancer patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) have significantly greater mortality compared with non-cancer patients. This risk is partly directly attributable to the malignancy; however these patients are frequently undertreated with respect to guideline recommended treatments for ACS due to higher bleeding risks from anemia and thrombocytopenia. Due to exclusion from large clinical trials, there is a paucity of data regarding how to best treat these complex and high-risk patients.Purpose of ReviewTo review the literature and identify risk factors among cancer patients associated with poor outcomes, p...

(American Roentgen Ray Society) According to ARRS' American Journal of Roentgenology, the imaging findings of in situ pulmonary artery thrombosis (PAT) associated with radiation therapy (RT) are different from those of acute pulmonary emboli and do not appear to embolize. Due to the differences in clinical prognosis and subsequent management strategies, in situ PAT associated with RT -- which has not previously been described in the English literature -- must be distinguished from pulmonary embolism.

ConclusionWe trained and cross-validated an  RID predictive model with high discriminative ability at both 6 and 12 months after RT. We expect to improve the predictive power of this model by enlarging the number of training datasets.

ConclusionModified submental platysmal adipomyofascial flap can be considered as a good alternative in male patients for reconstruction of small- to mid-sized oral cavity/oropharyngeal defects post-resection, especially during the prevailing pandemic crisis. It is an oncologically safe procedure with the major advantage of providing a hairless flap for oral cavity, tonsillar and BOT resection defects with lesser donor site morbidity.
